Hong Kong artist Polam Chan (b.1998), who was born and raised in Hong Kong, is now based in England. As a UK-based Hong Konger, Polam Chan explores Hong Kong society and the social problems. His art practice revolves around human interactions and emotions, from how ones view the society to social and political issues. His artwork frequently references his home city Hong Kong’s matter.

In 2021, Polam was awarded the Gilbert Bayes Award and European Artist Award.

‘ I’m Just Not There (2019)’ is currently on display in the exhibition “Grad Now 2021” at Saatchi Gallery in London until January 16, 2022.
