Meta to launch a store to demonstrate the functionality of meta-universes

The company believes that physical retail stores will not only help sell more equipment, but also introduce consumers to virtual and augmented reality technologies.

The retail outlet is set to introduce the company's VR headsets, Ray-Ban Stories glasses and Portal devices. Visitors will enjoy interactive demonstrations played on a massive wall-to-wall LED display.

The store is located near San Francisco, California, near the Reality Labs division headquarters. It will open on May 9, 2022.
