SDMC has announced the latest guidelines to enter Sarawak on 25 June 2021, which include mandatory RT-PCR swab test 3 days prior to entering Sarawak, effective from 28 June 2021 onwards.
On July 1, 6 cases from one family (8 people) were tested positive before taking a flight to Sarawak. This shows the importance of this policy to prevent positive cases into Sarawak and reduce the risk of infection to airport staff, passengers and crew in the same plane.
SDMC will re-evaluate the entry procedures into Sarawak with the Sarawak Health Department from time to time, based on the development of the COVID-19 situation, to prevent Delta variant which was detected in 10 states/Federal Territories from spreading into Sarawak.
砂灾难管理委员会已在6月25日宣布入境砂拉越最新条例，包括入境前3天须进行冠病检测。在7月1日，欲入境砂拉越的一个家庭8名成员中，有6人在入境前检测呈阳性，这案例显示入境条例的重要性，可减少飞机场职员以及同个班机乘客感染的机率。
砂灾难管理委员会将与砂卫生局密切关注国内外最新疫情形势，时刻检讨入境砂拉越最新条例，这重要的措施是为了避免西马及纳闽发现的德尔塔变种毒株（Delta）渗入砂拉越。
