“Recommendations to the UK Government on the current situation of press freedom in Hong Kong”
Having just come back to the UK yesterday from our humanitarian ministry in Ukraine, I can still see faces of the citizens of Bucha who have experienced the massacre, and of the people of Kharkiv who are suffering daily bombardments. They showed us the traces of the war, repeatedly asking photos of the real situation to be shared across the Internet and the world. There is also a cancer patient in Kharkiv, still waiting for medication to sustain life, and that will cost £1,000.
Each of these photos is a caption of life and death, of press freedom, and of lives of the oppressed.
