GitHub 自 Git 2.32 起向 Git 贡献了一个新特性：松散索引 (sparse index)。此功能允许用户在 monorepo 中的某些子文件夹工作时只 checkout 这些文件夹，从而提升性能和工作效率。

目前相关功能尚未出现在 Git 的 release 中。希望体验此功能的用户可以安装 microsoft/git 的 v2.33.0.vfs.0.2 版本 [1]。
