*明新小学爱心家长团*
多年前，在前任家协主席吴志兴先生的号召及推动下，明新小学成立了爱心家长团。成立爱心家长团的主要宗旨包括了：
1. 协助维持校园内外交通，减少上学期间交通拥挤情况。
2. 帮助孩子们从车上把书包提下来，减短汽车在校园内停留的时间。
3. 协助孩子们越过校门前繁忙的马路，帮忙照顾孩子们的安全。
4. 学校进行任何活动时，协助校方，减缓学校面对人手不足问题。
目前，我们的爱心家长团共有大约20位成员。由于一些家长在孩子们毕业后，抽不出时间前来协助，导致爱心家长团成员逐年减少。
爱心家长团成员并不一定需要每天都执勤，可以灵活安排自己的时间，有空时才前来协助。就算一个星期只能前来一、二天也无任欢迎。如果当天临时有事，无法前来协助，也不是问题。团员之间都会互相协助，互相包容。
我们恳切期盼大家可以踊跃加入我们的爱心家长团，为学校，为孩子们尽一份力。

*SJKC MIN SIN CARING PARENT GROUP*
SJKC Min Sin Caring Parent Group was formed many years ago, under initiatives and proactive of Mr. Ng Chee Hin, the former chairman of PIBG SJKC Min Sin. The main objectives of the Caring Parent Group as below:
1. Assist in controlling the traffic flow inside and outside the school campus to prevent traffic congestion during school hours.
2. Provide support to children on carrying their school bags from the car in order to minimize the car’s staging time inside school campus.
3. Taking care of the children's safety by assisting them to cross the busy road in front of the school gate
4. Giving helping hand during when any activities are carried out by the school.
Currently, Caring Parent Group has about 20 members. Number of Caring Parent Group member reduced year by year following by the graduation of their children.
Caring Parents do not necessarily need to be on duty every day. They can arrange their own time flexibly and come to assist when they are available. We always welcome you to join us even only come for one or two days per week (~30 mins per day). Do not worry in case you can’t make it on certain day. We will arrange the schedule accordingly.
We sincerely hope that parents can actively join our SJKC Min Sin Caring Parent Group and do the best for the school and their children.
