2021-09-24 15:49:27 Joining the JHK "Brewery Crawl" event on 5th September has given me the opportunity to visit several breweries in Bermondsey London and to taste different types and flavours of beer, as well as learning about the British beer culture.

While it is a must to learn Hong Kong culture by visiting tea restaurants in Hong Kong, in the UK, you must go to breweries to understand Briitish drinking culture.

Unlike Hongkongers who always emphasize efficiency, British people know how to enjoy "slowness" in life. They would often spend a whole afternoon enjoying beer with the company of colleagues and friends. Therefore, drinking beer is arguably the first step to immerse oneself into the British way of life.

2021-09-24 15:48:59 小編9月5日參加咗JHK《Brewery Crawl》活動，參觀咗倫敦Bermondsey區既幾間啤酒廠，品嚐咗唔同種類既啤酒之外，仲了解咗英國既啤酒文化。

如果去茶記係了解香港文化既捷徑，咁去飲啤酒就係了解英國文化既第一步。相對於香港人重視嘅「快靚正」，「快」永遠行先，英國人就好識得喺生活中享受「慢」。黎到英國之後，眼見周街都係pub，而事實上英國人真係經常去pub留連。佢地會先試下唔同品種既啤酒再點一杯，然後坐一個下晝，飲哂再點，佢地當啤酒係生活既一部分，同時亦係社交既一部分，一到黃昏就會見到好多上班族三五成群咁落pub 飲啤酒，一邊飲一邊傾計...所以黎到英國第一件事就係學識飲啤酒，咁就更容易融入地道英國人既生活！

感謝各位提交參展藝術作品，我們仍要繼續接受提交新作品。

為了讓藝術家有更充裕的時間就“香港民族”展題創作原創藝術品，我們決定將展覽延期至2022年初舉行。

參展須知：

我們接受包括繪畫、雕塑、攝影、電影、表演等任何媒介的作品。

提交作品時請提供：

1. 1. 作品題目
2. 2. 作品大小/需要空間
3. 3. 媒介（例如壓克力、木材、塑膠等）
4. 4. 作品清晰影像
5. 5. 作品簡介數句

策展人將主要根據作品質素，從參展作品中選出符合展覽主題的藝術品。之後我們將會聯繫獲選作品的藝術家。

JHK將資助部份場地費用，參展藝術家需支付小額場地費用、保險費及展覽費。

“The London Lifestyle Group”喺2018年成立，參加者主要係一班住喺英國嘅香港人。今年中秋，佢哋想邀請埋大家一齊燒嘢食

適逢中秋，人在外地，圍爐係最適合不過。

為咗一解對港式BBQ滿身炭味嘅思念， 特此搵咗英國可以燒嘢食嘅地方， 比大家可以聚一聚一齊燒嘢食。

2021-09-01 02:58:58 It has been 2 years since the Prince Edward MTR station attack in Hong Kong (8.31 incident).
This time riot police stormed a train at Prince Edward subway, striking terrified passengers with batons and dispersing pepper spray. Eyewitnesses said police targeted suspected democracy protesters with black tops but other passengers too were swept up in one of the most controversial nights of the protests.
The police have rejected allegations of police brutality, saying officers deployed appropriate force, despite the action being filmed by journalists. But the events of that night remain seared in the minds of many Hongkongers with ongoing tributes to those injured through artwork and flowers left outside the station. We, the diaspora of Hong Kong will continue the tributes in the whole world.

2021-09-01 02:58:08 我們悼念，我們不忘，我們要讓全世界得悉8.31慘劇。
今天是香港8.31太子站襲擊事件兩週年，JHK成員跟許多在英港人一樣參加了各地悼念8.31的活動，因為真相一日未被揭露，我們都不會放棄。
8.31是整場抗爭運動中最受爭議的事件之一。
當日防暴警察衝入太子站的地鐵車廂，對驚恐的乘客施以警棍和胡椒噴霧。警察以穿黑衣的疑似支持民主示威者為目標，而其他乘客也成為攻擊對象。儘管在場記者拍到大量影像證據，但警方否認警暴，並聲稱警員只運用了適當武力。儘管警方否認真相，但當夜的影像已經深深印在香港人的腦海中。太子站外持續有市民以鮮花或不同自發活動悼念死傷者，而我們亦會將悼念活動於世界各地延續。

“What happened at Prince Edward metro station on 31.8.2019” Liverpool Rally

Marking the 2nd anniversary of the 8.31 incident in Prince Edward metro station in Hong Kong, Liverpool Stands with Hong Kong will be holding a rally in memorial of the incident and we would like to make use of this event to explain to the local community the the impact of this incident caused to Hongkongers, why hongkongers lost their trust in Hong Kong police force along side with reason behind why we continue fighting against the totalitarian government and the downfall of Hong Kong.
