【召集英國選民去信 MP 要求支援香港 】
【Email template to contact your own MP to support Hong Kong】
各位居住在英國而又有選民資格的香港人，相信大家都會因為看到最新中共公佈要在香港推行港版國安法而感到難過及氣憤。距上年反送中惡法還未到一年，中共就已經準備再推另一惡法，想將香港僅有之自由都徹底殲滅。來到這個時刻，海外香港人對香港的幫助和團結尤為重要。
作為英國選民，請利用你的權利去信你選區之 MP，向他們表達訴求，要求英國政府以中英聯合聲明簽署人身分作直接行動支援香港。一起幫手推波助瀾，讓英國政府知道香港人這些訴求是有民意 backup！
D4HK-EAG 組與攬炒團隊整合了一個 email template 供大家用以聯絡自己選區之MP，提出訴求，下列為訴求的簡撮 bullet points：
1. 邀請 MP 簽署由前港督彭定康先生及 Hong Kong Watch 發起之聯署
2. 要求英國政府正式宣布中國政府違反中英聯合聲明
3. 給予 BNO 持有人及其家屬更多權利
4. 確保曾參與社會運動的香港人之英國簽證申請不會因而被影響
5. 加快制定及實行英國版之《馬格尼茨基法案》，以制裁侵犯人權者

If you are a UK-based voter with Hong Kong connections, you might be frustrated by the recent actions undertaken by the China and Hong Konger government. Imposing the “National Security Law” will further erode Hong Kong’s freedom and rule of law, alongside last year’s events.
It is especially important that we, the international community, show solidarity to support Hong Kong. It’s time to exercise your rights and express our views to our local MPs to push for more concrete policy actions from the UK government. We need to let the MPs know that there is a strong backup from their voter base on the policies to help Hong Kong.
D4HK-EAG and SWHK have created a letter template for you to contact your own MP and ask for concrete actions. Summary of our asks:
1. Invite MP to support the joint statement led by Lord Patten and Hong Kong Watch
2. Call on the UK government to declare a breach of the Sino British Joint Declaration in relation to the decision by the Chinese Communist Party
3. Permit UK right of abode to British National Overseas (BNO) passport holders from Hong Kong and their families, along with others from Hong Kong
4. Ensure that there is no impact on the visa application process for work, visit and study due to participation in pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong
5. Ask that the government’s proposed regime for the introduction of Magnitsky style sanctions should be published urgently
