2022-06-16 02:41:53 During the Xia Dynasty, Chinese people used musical instruments only for rituals. In Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty not only were music used in religious rituals but also in royal ceremonies. At the time of the Qin Dynasty, there was an instrument called Ya Yue and there were eight known categories of musical instruments: jin, mu, si, shi, zhu, pao, tu, and ge. The development of music continued along with the Jin Dynasty, Sui Dynasty, Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty, until Ming and Qing Dynasty.

在夏朝時期時，中國人都會只使用音樂來作為在儀式中的伴奏。商朝和周朝時期時，音樂不只是來作為在儀式中的伴奏，但是這也用於皇宮上辦的儀式或是在各種的活動中。秦朝時期中有一種樂器，那就是雅樂。雅樂也被分成八種的樂器，有金，木，絲，石，竹，匏，土和革。這些音樂持續被發展到晉朝，隋朝，唐朝，宋朝，明朝以及清朝。
