2022-07-24 05:18:38 Through the teachings of Confucius, a child is said to be filial if it can make their parents happy and cannot be said to be filial (孝 xiao) if it cannot give them happiness.

According to Andri Wang, filial piety to parents is divided into three stages as follows:

1. Caring for elderly parents (孝養, xiao yang): Elderly parents are helpless, they need children to pay attention and take care of them.

2. Respect for parents (孝敬, xiao jing) In addition to caring for parents must also respect parents.

3. Children must be healthy and successful in their careers (孝志, xiao zhi). If children can become moral and high-virtuous people and are successful in their studies and careers, their parents can smile widely and feel proud.

Through the concept of xiao, we remind them to fulfil the need to enjoy free time with their parents. Children are encouraged to support quality time in their spare time, even if they take their parents or the elderly for a walk together or recreation. Therefore, the concept of filial piety or xiao, has become important in Chinese culture today (Erlita Tantri, 2018).

Young people are currently shocked by "Citayam Trend" or Citayam Fashion Week. Issues that attract public attention, especially in the youth community. They flocked to the streets in the business and office district on Jalan Sudirman, Jakarta, to show off the latest and modern clothes.

But we don't talk about Citayam, but in a metropolis in China modern times, there are still people who wear traditional Chinese clothes in their daily lives. There is a large crowd on the subway, in parks, or on campus and hangouts. The traditional clothes they wear are called Hanfu (漢服). Unlike the typical red Chinese clothes know as a cheongsam (長衫). Hanfu is more like the clothes of the princesses and princes of the past, with fabrics that wave in the wind and layers of clothing.
