2022-08-29 08:07:41 Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has announced the 9th Sarawakku Sayang Special Aid (BKSS 9.0) worth more than RM1 billion.

BKSS 9.0 consists of five measures in an effort to lessen the burden of those affected by the rising cost of living.

Among the five measures are the continued discounts for monthly electricity and water bills, which are extended from July to December this year.

砂总理拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里今日公布涵盖5项惠民措施，总额近10亿令吉的“我亲爱的砂拉越特别援助配套9.0”（BKSS 9.0），减轻砂人民及业者因冠病疫情及通货膨胀导致的负担及压力。

“我亲爱的砂拉越特别援助配套9.0”惠民措施包括水电费、门牌税及摊贩租金折扣，以及启动“价格变动条款”（VOP）2.0，所有措施从今年7月至12月生效，为期6个月。

“我亲爱的砂拉越特别援助配套9.0”措施：
1.电费5至25%折扣（包括家庭用户、商用及工业用途）
2.水费10至25%折扣（包括家庭用户、商用及工业用途）
3.门牌税折扣，超过400令吉门牌税折扣25%，400令吉及以下门牌税折扣30%
4.地方议会管辖下小贩及摊位享有50％租金折扣
5.启动“价格变动条款”（VOP）2.0，协助建筑承包商应对建筑材料价格上涨
