2021-07-11 12:02:22 Sarawak has administered a cumulative 1,363,247 dose 1 and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟱𝟮𝟬,𝟱𝟵𝟮 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝟮 as at yesterday -- the highest number of completed 2nd dose anywhere in the country.

Until 10 July 11.59pm, Sarawak has administered a single-day total of 62,241 and a cumulative total of 1,883,839 (dose 1 and dose 2) vaccines in Sarawak.

2021-07-11 08:30:08 Half of the eligible Sarawakians will have completed their two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine on Sarawak Day, July 22.

Sarawak has begun the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) in February and started receiving a large supply of vaccines since June 9. With the current rapid rate of vaccination, Sarawak will achieve our target in vaccination progress.

2021-07-10 07:30:02 While fighting COVID-19, we must not forget that rabies is still a real threat in Sarawak. As responsible pet owners, we must ensure that our pet dog is vaccinated against rabies each year. This simple act goes a long way in eradicating rabies in Sarawak.

In accordance with Section 40 of the Veterinary Public Health Ordinance 1999, it is mandatory for pet owners to vaccinate their pet dogs against rabies each year and failure to do so is an offence that calls for a fine not exceeding RM2,500.
