Sarawak had administered 59,269 doses of vaccine yesterday.

Until 6 July 11.59pm yesterday, a cumulative total of 1,254,639 first dose and 357,574 second dose were administered. A total of 1,612,213 of dose 1 and dose 2 vaccines were administered in Sarawak.

This is a public service announcement (PSA) to address the concerns of people who have recovered from COVID-19.

YES, people who have recovered from COVID-19 will still need to be vaccinated, 90 days after recovery. Vaccination can be arranged after symptoms and quarantine ends.

Sarawak has recorded 286 new confirmed cases (29 with symptoms, 236 from amongst the quarantined)

153 from screenings with individuals with close contact with positive cases (7 with symptoms)
82 from screenings with individuals within existing active clusters (none with symptoms)
31 from other screenings at health facilities (3 with symptoms)
19 from screenings with individuals with symptoms at health facilities
1 Import B from other state in Malaysia (no symptoms)

371 people have recovered and discharged from hospital

1 new cluster: Cluster Sungai Sengkabang, Subis, involving 2 longhouses under EMCO at Sungai Sengkabang in Ulu Sebuti, Bekenu, Subis, 58 tested positive

3 clusters ended:
i. Cluster Jalan Dato Permaisuri, Miri
ii. Cluster Ulu Sebakong, Mukah
iii. Cluster Kampung Hilir Lingga, Sri Aman

96 existing clusters, 11 clusters had 82 new cases today, while another 85 clusters had no cases reported today

Deepest condolences to the family of the victims – 59yo man from Pakan & 56yo man from Sibu.

砂拉越今日有371名冠病患者痊愈出院，同时今日增加286宗冠病确诊病例，其中29宗有症状，236宗是在隔离期间确诊，分别是古晋85宗、苏必士50宗、美里32宗、诗巫21宗、民都鲁、砂拉卓及西连各11宗、雅沙再也及桑县各8宗、加帛及斯里阿曼各7宗、石隆门、武吉玛邦及德朗乌山各5宗、三马拉汉及达岛各4宗、加拿逸3宗、泗里街及丹绒玛尼各2宗、柏鲁鲁、伦乐、马拉端、实兰沟及实文然各1宗。砂确诊病例累计6万7271宗。

今日增加2宗冠病死亡病例，分别来自巴干及诗巫。砂死亡病例增至421宗，在此向死者家属致予深切慰问。
