2021-07-04 12:23:20 SDMC has announced the latest guidelines to enter Sarawak on 25 June 2021, which include mandatory RT-PCR swab test 3 days prior to entering Sarawak, effective from 28 June 2021 onwards.

On July 1, 6 cases from one family (8 people) were tested positive before taking a flight to Sarawak. This shows the importance of this policy to prevent positive cases into Sarawak and reduce the risk of infection to airport staff, passengers and crew in the same plane.

SDMC will re-evaluate the entry procedures into Sarawak with the Sarawak Health Department from time to time, based on the development of the COVID-19 situation, to prevent Delta variant which was detected in 10 states/Federal Territories from spreading into Sarawak.

今日增加1宗冠病死亡病例，死者是来自加拿逸59岁本地女性。砂死亡病例增至419宗，在此向死者家属致予深切慰问。

2021-07-04 07:30:00 The most fearful Covid-19 of the Delta variant is not in Sarawak yet, but we must be extra vigilant to prevent a second outbreak like the Pasai Cluster. The variant could enter Sarawak from Indonesia, West Malaysia and Labuan, so the land, sea and air borders have to be guarded strictly.

However, some locals kept trying to bring in illegal immigrants from Indonesia. The recent arrest of 17 PATI showed that 15 of them were positive for the virus and 1 Sarawakian who brought in PATI was also infected.

传染性更强及更致命的德尔塔变种毒株（Delta）未在砂拉越发现，所有砂拉越人必须提高警惕，避免再有类似巴赛感染群事件发生。该变种毒株可能从印尼、西马或纳闽侵入砂拉越，因此砂必须在海陆空边界严格把关。

遗憾的是，有本地人不断尝试从印尼带进非法移民，近期有17名被逮捕的非法移民，其中15人是冠病患者。其中1名带进非法移民的本地人也被感染。
