Sarawak has recorded 361 new confirmed cases (38 with symptoms, 257 from amongst the quarantined)
223 from screenings with individuals with close contact with positive cases (18 with symptoms)
85 from other screenings at health facilities (1 with symptoms)
34 from screenings with individuals within existing active clusters (none with symptoms)
19 from screenings with individuals with symptoms at health facilities
529 people have recovered and discharged from hospital
4 new clusters:
Cluster Jalan Haji Taha, Kuching, involving a security company based in Jalan Haji Taha, 121 tested positive
Cluster Cluster Pagar Tebedu, Tebedu, involving detainees at Tebedu police station lockup, 29 tested positive
Cluster 35 Bintulu, Bintulu, involving an oil rig under EMCO located within Bintulu maritime zone, 15 tested positive
Cluster Semuja, Serian, involving Semuja Immigration Detention Depot in Serian (second incident, first cluster ended on May 8), 6 Pakistani to be deported back to their country tested positive on July 1, 71 tested positive
5 clusters ended:
i. Cluster Tanjung Kibong, Sibu
ii. Cluster Jalan Jambusan, Bau
iii. Cluster Lubok Nitih, Saratok.
iv. Cluster Sungai Sian, Meradong.
v. Cluster Jalan Pinang Riam, Miri
96 existing clusters, 11 clusters had 33 new cases today, while another 85 clusters had no cases reported today
